I hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving!
By Gabe Today, we moved our desks into a rectangle and had a pretend Thanksgiving Feast in our classroom. We had Miss Klapp for our Greek math teacher and we made a multiplication building. We also made a Thanksgiving turkey in Language Arts that had to do with Main Idea and Supporting Details. We had a great time playing Mum Ball!
I hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving!

By Ellie This week we had a lot of fun! In Social Studies we did a short unit on the 5 oceans and 7 continents. Mrs. Wagner told us her 5 oceans song it was super funny and cool! In math we started our unit on multiplication and division. We had our reading quiz on main idea. This week was the last week for meeting our AR goals. We had 6 people who met there AR goals. On Friday in Greek Math we played a game with multiplication. It was very, very fun! In Gym class we had to do the pacer test. That's when we have to run as hard as we could. It was very challenging! We all worked hard throughout this 5 day week, so everyone should enjoy the weekend! Michael, Lolita, Amirah, and Jade during Greek Math Carmen and Roman had a blast playing Math games with foam dice! AJ's parents sent us photos of Baby Ashton! Isn't he the cutest? We can tell AJ is an awesome big brother! :)
By Mrs. Wagner I just wanted to give a huge shout-out to our Girls on the Run team! They ran a 5K in downtown Wilmington this past Saturday and did an amazing job. It was chilly and windy but they persevered and we are all impressed by their hard work and dedication!
By Saniyah This week we had 2 visitors. Can you guess who they were? You are right it was baby Lincoln and Mrs. Wagner's mom. That was a very good surprise! We all got to hold Baby Lincoln! Also on Tuesday we had science test and a math test. We played Jeopardy to review for our Science test. In 12 more days it is Ellie's birthday. Students who earned 75 tickets can go to the PBS party soon to watch monsters inc. Today we got a new writing center in our classroom. Mrs. Wagner showed us silly writing prompts we can use when we finish our final drafts for persuasive writing. Preston, working on his writing piece. Arnav and Regan, warming themselves by the fire during Writing!
By Seamus This week, we did a science experiment with a dowl and a cup to learn more about coordination. Also AJ grant had a Baby Brother. We got new books in the class Library that were donated by another student. We are finishing our personal narratives writing, too. We also had our first Indoor Recess with Mrs. Wagner and we have had lots of fun with brain breaks!
By Mrs. Wagner I really appreciate that so many of you parents took the time on a busy weekday evening to stop by school and meet me. It was wonderful to finally place names with faces and to learn more about you and your children. I hope those of you who came enjoyed chatting with myself and other parents and taking a tour of our cozy classroom! On Friday, we will have our Unit 3 Language Arts assessment on Historical Fiction and Sequencing. I am excited to see how everyone applies the skills they have been learning and practicing over the past 3 weeks!
